Kadiatou BahKadiatou Bah is an African American student artist at Developing Artists who has been part of the company for almost two years. During her time at DA, she has performed in REBEL VERSES, collaborated on original plays, and is continuing to grow as a writer and performer class by class and performance by performance. She loves using storytelling to start conversations about important issues and hopes to continue using her voice to make a positive impact.

Mariama BahMariama Bah is an African American student who is excited to be joining Developing Artists for the first time. She is looking forward to performing, stepping outside of her comfort zone, and meeting new people throughout this experience. She is excited to explore theater, learn new skills, and challenge herself in a new environment. She is grateful for the opportunity to be part of this year’s production and is excited to begin her journey with Developing Artists.

Zoe FowlerZoe Fowler is a proud Dominican and Cuban artist at Developing Artists. This is her first year in this program and she’s already gained an extensive amount of knowledge in her acting career. She is passionate about developing her characters and takes pride in going the full length to learn her characters inside and out. You may recognize her from the RV 26’ introduction, where she contributed to constructing a series of lyrics containing all significant elements of the theater. Her favorite class is Megan’s Scene Study class because she is content to thoroughly explore character and scene dynamics. The arts are one of her greatest and most potent tools and she continues to thrive in navigating the contents of it with great gratitude and enthusiasm.

Demi JacksonDemi Jackson is a 14 year old African American and half Jamaican girl. She's been a student with Developing Artists for a year now , working on her writing and acting skills. During the past year she had collaborated with her ensemble to make the opening for RV ‘26. Throughout her year she had many ups and downs but she truly has a passion for the arts which keeps her going.

Zenani JonesZenani Jones is an aspiring actress, writer, director, and dancer who has been a part of Developing Artists (DA) for the past year. Throughout her time there, she has written poems, created her own original character, and developed a strong passion for storytelling. Zenani enjoys writing about different experiences and characters, especially those she can personally connect with. Through acting, directing, dancing, and writing, Zenani continues to grow as an artist while using her creativity to inspire those around her. Even through challenges, she has found strength in expressing herself and bringing her ideas to life through the arts.

Emma LlanosEmma Llanos is a Latina Artist from Queens New York. She is a Proud student of Developing Artists. Emma has been working with Developing Artists for almost 2 years now. She finds Joy in working with new people and exploring a character’s depth. She loves to write characters that others can relate to. You might recognize Emma from REBEL VERSES 2025 and 2026 Opening Number, The Meet and Greet 2024, and We Deserve Better 2025. Her favorite class is Danielle’s "Writing Characters for Social Justice” class because she loves getting to explore how a character feels and thinks.

Jaylene OrtizJaylene Ortiz is a student at Developing Artists. In the 3 years they've spent at the company, they have participated in several showings and pieces, such as Make Art With 2024, RV 25’s The Disengagement of the Teenage Artist, We Deserve Better and RV 26’s The Holy Garden.

Avril Pierre-LouisAvril Imani is a proud Jamaican American artist who has been a part of Developing Artists this past year. Avril is passionate about creating music and art that brings to light who she is. Through her time at Developing Artists, she has developed new ways to showcase her authenticity. She has participated in writing a song for the RV ‘26 Opening Number and developed her own character from the shape of their face to the type of music they listen to. With the mental blocks, outside and inside struggles she’s faced, she still perseveres. Avril continues to entertain others through art as if that is her superpower.

OUR LEAD ARTIST
Neil Tyrone PritchardNeil Tyrone Pritchard has worked in various leadership positions for LAByrinth since becoming a member in 2017 and is currently Co-Artistic Director. Over the past decade, he's designed and led workshops through the Park Ave Armory, Trusty Sidekick, Tempest productions and for the Broadway revival of “Oklahoma!” He's ethos of his teaching practice is to demystify the artmaking process by helping the students identify the art in their everyday lives.
As an Actor, Neils has helped to develop over 40 new plays from readings to world premieres throughout the country with companies such as The Goodman Theatre, Sundance TheaterLab, Dorset Theater Festival, Classic Stage Company, Atlantic Theater Company, MTC, Tectonic Theater Project and The Public. With LAByrinth, he originated roles in David Anzuelo’s DIA Y NOCHE and Stephen Adly Guirgis’ HALFWAY BITCHES GO STRAIGHT TO HEAVEN . As a vocalist, he's performed at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, The Mckittrick Hotel and Bowery Poetry Club. |

We're accepting high school students 13-16 for FALL 2026!
Developing Artists’ Institute 2-year performing arts program applications for our fall session are open. Tuition is FREE upon acceptance. We are accepting high school students ages 13-16.
At Developing Artists, we believe the practical application of the performing arts can affect change. Our program is designed to inspire and challenge students to develop their artistic voices and skills while creating socially impactful work. Students will receive extensive training, including theater fundamentals and specialized workshops led by guest professionals in areas like spoken word, dance and playwriting. We believe that teen artists can change the world, and this training gives them the tools to do it.
